Chasing for Payment
This is an absolutely crucial part of your order to cash process. Where required, we can proactively contact your customers before payments become due, to check if there are any queries that might cause delay in settlement. We follow up overdue debts regularly and encourage payment whilst maintaining the commerical trading relationship that you've worked so hard to cultivate. From initial call or email, through further reminders to final demand (if needed), contact is always focused, friendly, firm and ultimately - fruitful.
Copy Documents / Document Amendments
A huge barrier to getting paid is customers either not receiving their documents (or at least saying they haven't received them) or they have received documents that contain errors which cause delays in invoices being processed for payment. We can send copies of any documents required; invoices, statements, purchase orders, delivery confirmations etc. We can also amend where required to ensure your documents are fully compliant with your customer's processes.
Administrative tasks like this, particularly where large volumes are concerned, can be hugely time consuming. At Flex, we can take care of these tasks for you, leaving you and your staff free to focus on other business related work.
Credit Reporting / Risk Assessment
Making sure you've got up to date financial information on your customers is so important but maybe you don't have the time/resource for one person to review your sales ledger credit limits? I can obtain credit reports for you and if necessary, I can give you an experienced and qualified opinion on their creditworthiness *
Account Reconciliations
Probably the most time consuming aspect of the whole Accounts Receivable function, reconciliations of larger accounts can take up huge amounts of time. Usually highly involved with much investigation into historic transactions and previous cash allocations. We can work solely on your more complex accounts to bring the accounts up to date and into line.
Account Queries
Most businesses have their own systems and processes for resolving queries but breakdowns within these processes can lead to lengthy delays in payment. At Flex, we are more than happy to work on investigating account queries and bringing them to resolution, recommending commercial solutions where appropriate.

Guidance and Advice
We are happy to offer guidance and advice on any aspect of credit control / accounts receivable. This can be either over the phone, using Teams or we can provide written reports. We can advise on such things as proactive customer management, spotting trends in customer solvency and how to handle challenging debtors.
